The themed rooms are ready to be used with a unique link for each registered account.

What do I need to be able to use Utopia VR? (hardware, software, internet)

You can use any device for Utopia VR. It works with PC/laptop, Mac/iOS, Android or VR headsets with audio (mic and speaker/headset) capability. To be able to show your video capture (webcam), please ensure that the device you are using has a camera (built-in or accessory) connected to it. For software, we recommend using a device with at least 4gb RAM and XX memory capacity. We suggest connecting to a high-speed internet (300 mbps or better) to enjoy UtopiaVR’s features seamlessly.

What can I use for audio on Utopia VR?

When joining a VRoom on Utopia VR, you will be prompted for audio settings for mic and speakers. You can opt for your device’s built-in microphone and speakers or external devices including microphone-enabled headsets and external speakers that are already connected to your device.

Do I need a webcam to use Utopia VR?

It is optional, yet powerful to use webcams in Utopia VR meetings or meetups. You are represented by avatars inside the VRooms and you have the option to broadcast via your webcam. Make sure that the device you are using has a camera (built-in or external) and test it before your first Utopia VR experience.

Can I audio or text-chat with the other users inside the VRoom?

Once inside the VRoom, you can communicate with anyone inside the same VRoom via audio (mic) or by typing a chat message.

What is an avatar?

An avatar is a digital representation (twin) of you! When you first log in to Utopia VR, our system will walk you through a quick and easy process to customize your avatar to your desired likeness. Make sure you stay up to date as our avatar engine gets better on a regular basis. Our avatar customization feature will continue to evolve on a regular basis so you can update your look!
